Suzanne Clements Presents Her Best of 2024

Product Photographer/Director Suzanne Clements had the privilege of directing and photographing a series of dynamic motion and stills for Absolut Vodka’s Wicked Cocktails collaboration. The project utilized a virtual production to  maximize impact within the tight timeline.

Suzanne curated a talented creative team for propping and cocktail styling and partnered with the local production company, Oxenfree, to manage the assembly of motion equipment and crew logistics. Collaborating closely with Ben Gill, her technical director, she optimized her resources to create visually captivating motion pieces that engaged the senses.

She incorporated digital backgrounds from Universal and built three distinct environments enhanced with strategic propping and expert cocktail styling. A cinebot was employed for two setups: one for an immersive fly-through of a hovering cocktail pour, and another to follow the talent and set in action, creating dynamic, fluid visuals.

Upon completion, the brand representative praised the impressive level of work. Dare we say, it was a wicked success.

See the video and production stills below.

Lizzie Harper Presents Her Best of 2024

Each year, we reach out to our clients to discover which of their commissioned projects resonated the most.

This year, natural history illustrator Lizzie Harper selected a project that beautifully intertwined her passion for nature and her love for learning. Commissioned by the UK Overseas Territories Conservation in collaboration with the Montserrat National Trust, Lizzie was tasked with creating a series of 15 botanical illustrations of popular medicinal plants found in Montserrat. These illustrations were intended for both identification and educational purposes. This is the second set of 15 plants she has worked on for the client, with the first set completed in 2023. Additionally, the illustrations were adapted into line pen and ink drawings, serving as engaging coloring sheets for schools across Montserrat.

Kelly Allison Productions says, “You’re Welcome,” with Del Monte Foods

This summer, Kelly Allison Productions (in partnership with The Wall Productions) shot the “You’re Welcome” campaign for Fresh Del Monte Pineapples, with Kelly Allison directing. In a stunning residential home in suburban Deer Park, on some of the most beautiful summer days, a supremely talented crew collaborated on a lively and bold project for Del Monte’s fresh pineapples.
Over two days, Kelly Allison Productions produced two TV spots with talent in multiple scenes, enjoying fresh food and drinks in an array of environments. Agency and client were comfortably hosted indoors, with craft service and catering served in a shady area outdoors. A cherry on top of the metaphorical pineapple cocktail was a separate set that was reserved purely for a glitter-cannon scene, actualized by Performing Rigs. The skilled artist/technicians who crafted that scene together may still be finding glitter in their belongings, but they would attest to the reward of capturing the shot!
Above all the details of a successful shoot, happy clients, and lit-up talent, Kelly gleans the highest reward of work, such as this, from the brilliance and alchemy of so many talented people gathered together to create something completely unique. She places a high priority on hiring outside of the historically normal demographic in the production and ad industry, and this shoot was a wonderful representation of this.

A Sunset B-Ball Pick-Up Game with Tracy + David

One recent evening, the husband and wife team of Tracy + David headed out to capture a group of basketball players gathering to shoot hoops under the evening sky. It felt like a full-circle moment reconnecting with one of the players they’d met while documenting athletes during the early days of COVID, when they worked on a project that highlighted the perseverance of athletes even in isolation. Both athletes themselves, Tracy + David are deeply inspired by the grit, passion, and commitment that sports demand, and they were inspired to revisit the world of pickup basketball with fresh eyes.

With both Tracy and David behind the lens, the two combined stills and video to tell the story of camaraderie and drive, capturing dynamic and engaging content quickly and seamlessly. They captured determination, focus, and joy of the players on the court, highlighting the shared love of the game, the fast-paced energy, the dedication to the game, and the athletic spirit that unites all athletes.

“It‘s Time” by Jason Lindsey

Dedicated to Indigenous communities, the film honors their enduring relationship with maple syrup while encouraging viewers to embrace environmental responsibility.

Joey Guidone’s Fresh New Book Covers

Joey Guidone has crafted striking new covers for Brown’s Requiem, Clandestine, and Perfidia by Payot et Rivages, capturing the moody, noir atmosphere that defines James Ellroy’s stories. He also illustrated two fresh covers for Carlo Lucarelli’s Il sogno di Volare and Il lato sinistro del cuore, published by Einaudi editore. Each design reflects the heart of the narratives, blending mystery and suspense with Guidone’s compelling artistic style.
