Biography

Since earning a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Colorado, and early work experience in advertising and publishing company art departments, I've been an illustrator and designer most of my career. I spent over 5 years illustrating educational AV programs, and self published cook books with Sharon Elliot under the name Fresh Press before broadening my clientele and refining a style that I love.  Time out for raising a couple creative kids happened along the way while keeping one foot on the career path, trying out various art techniques and learning watercolor.  

I now provide illustrations for clients from all over the US and Canada with my signature brush & ink with watercolor style for logos, book jackets, packaging, advertising, posters and many other uses.  I also translate the elegant simplicity of this look to vector art when requested for logos or packaging. In the last several years I%u2019ve been teaching a Watercolor for Illustration class at Bellevue College near Seattle and have been showing my fine art work in galleries and exhibitions.
