A Love of Drawing is an illustration and design studio created by illustrator Danielle C. McManus in the fall of 2009. Currently she resides in New York where she works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer in the fields of advertising, reportage, publishing, package design, fashion and editorial. As a designer and illustrator she enjoys every aspect of what she gets to do, be an artist that solves problems, and communicates to a diverse audience. She enjoys using a wide variety of media in her illustrations and designs, such as watercolor, pen and ink, crayon, drawing, computer graphics, and oil paint.
Some of her clients include Crain's New York Business Magazine, Jones Apparel Group, MacsWomen, Lam Design, and New York Social Diary. Danielle is also a blog correspondent for the non-profit organization, Urban Sketchers, and her work is currently being featured on numerous websites including Amistad America, and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. In 2010 she was featured on the pages of the Artist's Magazine. Danielle is also the co-founder of The 1104 Studio, a marketing cooperative made of up of three individual artists.
