         Dave Calver is a proud graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. New Yorkers are well familiar with Dave's distinct illustrations:  His iconic snow-people have been used for years to promote The Lincoln Center  B.I.D.'s Annual Winter's Eve event.  Strap-hangers' commutes have been enlivened as they explore the intricate whimsey in Dave's three MTA Art Posters.  One of these, "Bling" went onto receive a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators. Commuters are purchasing these delightful transit postersto hang at home.  Recently relocated to Palm Springs from Rochester, NY, Dave hauled his many collections cross country: hundreds of vintage novelty salt and pepper shakers; thrift shop amateur portrait paintings; cocktail shakers; plaster medical model; cookie jars and his one beloved dog, Zelda.
