Born in Montreal, Canada, Charles William Bush was inspired by his internationally renowned uncle, abstract painter Jack Bush and legendary photographer Irving Penn.
His growing interest in art & architecture led him to Los Angeles to study at the Art Center of Design. While still a student, he began photographing for Vogue Magazine.
After graduation, Bush started shooting assignments for Brides, Ebony, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, L'Official, Los Angeles, McCall's, Paris Match, People, Shape, Taxi, and TV Guide. Art Directors in the Music Industry soon took notice and commissioned album packages for Olivia Newton John, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles, Joni Mitchell, Tanya Tucker and Nancy Wilson.
Bush's client list includes film notables: John Travolta, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Faye Dunaway, Catherine Zeta Jones, Demi Moore, Donald Sutherland to name a few.
A few TV personalities are: Heather Locklear, Ted Danson, Lisa Kudrow, Jane Seymour, Rob Estes, Judge Judy, and Jay Leno.
Bush's award winning print work for Neutrogena and others, coupled with the rare distinction of having seven of his national cosmetic campaigns run simultaneously, are just a few reasons why he continues to perform at the top of his field. He is just as much at home in the studio as he is traveling the globe on assignments.
