How To Get More Results From Your Portfolio.

If you have Self Managed or a Workbook Managed Account:

Keywords are very important. Make sure every time you update or upload a new portfolio, you keyword it properly. The first thing the buyer sees in a search is the first screen of your portfolio. For the benefit of the end user, and ultimately yours, we recommend that all of the keywords you choose be represented in your imagery on your first screen. For the overall content of your portfolio however, for any keyword selected, our requirement is that at least 20% of your images are represented in your online portfolio.

Choose a clear specialty for any given portfolio. Have a number offline for client requests.

Include contact info, name and phone number/website, on all screens.

Update your portfolio at least once a month. No additional charge for Self Managed Accounts; $12/image for Workbook Managed Accounts.

If you find it difficult to make frequent changes to the entire portfolio, we recommend, at the very least, making changes to a portion of your content with a priority being placed on the first screen. If end users see a unique entry thumbnail, they may be more likely to take another look.

Promote your unique workbook.com url in all of your marketing materials, including your signature in your email program.

Pay attention to your stats and the top Workbook searched keywords that are listed to the right side of your stats page under "workbook.com stats".

If you have a Self Managed Account you can also:

Immediately populate your account with additional screens and alternate portfolios for the purpose of easily and quickly switching live content.

Use the email feature inside your portfolio manager to send custom portfolios to past, current or potential clients.

Use the available caption field to list available specialties and/or solicit further requests. Example, "Call or email for a customized portfolio."
