Award Winners, Illustration
The
Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards have acknowledged not one, but two
Morgan Gaynin artists as gold medal winners this year!
The Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards are dedicated to increasing recognition of exemplary children’s books and their creators. The Awards cover an impressive thirty-six categories, reflecting the full range of subjects and styles in which children’s books are written and the age groups for whom these books are published.
High fives are in order for
Wendy Edelson, who took home the gold in the Best Illustrator category for her work on the heartwarming
“Bartholomew’s Gift,” and for
Josee Bisaillon, who won the gold in the Multicultural Picture Book category, for her contribution to
“Benno and the Night of Broken Glass,” written by Meg Wiviott.
You can take a look at all of the winners
here, and congratulations to Wendy and Josee!
